CENTRALSTATION

The former  machinery hall known as the "Maschinenhalle" in Darmstadt’s city centre has become a true centre of culture.  Centralstation http://www.ztix.de/welcomehotelda/cscal.html stages its wide and varying programme both in the machine room downstairs and in the room on the first floor.

Events rage from exhibitions, readings, plays and films through to concerts and club events. Diversity at the Centralstation doesn’t just mean they stage anything that comes along. The aim is more to show culture in all its facets. The musical spectrum covered ranges from hip hop and rock and pop through jazz and world musice to classical music. It’s the quality of the performance that counts!  

Such a diversity of programme attracts a wide and diverse range of people with something to appeal to every age range. With its unusual concept covering all aspects of culture Centralstation has rapidly been able to make a name for itself not only in the city of Darmstadt but also rreaching out far beyond even the borders of the Rhine-Main-Neckar region.

Opening times:
Monday to Saturday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday: only on event days

In advance a service fee at a minimum of 10% from the ticket rate will be charged as well as a system fee at the rate of 1.30 EUR raised.
